Yoga For Survivors 8-Week Workshop (March -May 2025)
Yoga for survivors is an 8-week workshop designed for individuals interested in experiencing the healing benefits of yoga. This course is designed to offer survivors of sexual trauma, and other relational traumas, a safe and gradual experience to exercise choice, regain a sense of power, and establish an enjoyable connection to their bodies. The goal of this workshop is that participants walk away with an increased knowledge of coping strategies to manage painful experiences and a greater belief in their inner strength. Each week will focus on a different theme.
This workshop costs $50/ per week and requires the ability to commit to meeting every Saturday from 10:30am-11:45am. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of signing up. This deposit counts as the first payment. Payment for the full course is required, even in the event of an absence. The workshop starts March 29th and ends May 17th.

Trauma-Informed Weekly Offerings
Trauma-informed yoga focuses on offering opportunities to establish a safe and positive connection to the body through mindful movement. It’s an invitation to bring exploration and play into the mind & body. No prior yoga experience is required.
These weekly classes are meant to provide space for a variety of different individuals and needs. Below you can read a little about each of the different formats offered.

Current offering schedule:
Mondays: Sunrise Yoga | 6:45am-7:45am | $25 per class
Focuses on gently awakening the body for the day ahead. This class starts off slow, has a brief period of brisk intensity, followed by a wind down period. This class is meant to help our body wake up in a natural way and aid in moving through feelings of grogginess to feeling fully present in our body. I myself am not a morning person, so I designed to class for anyone that shares my need in having some time to warm up before you get your day started. This class is virtual so you can join from the comfy coziness of your own home!
Tuesdays | Teen Yoga | 3:30-4:30pm | $40 per week
(Ages 13-17) *18 year olds that are seniors in high school are also welcome to join! ( a special series for young adults 18-22 is currently being developed.)
This is a support group that also incorporates the benefits of yoga. I have previously created and ran multiple teen groups around a variety of health topics, so I am excited to jump back into this space! This group will meet after school on Tuesdays. The focus of this group is to provide teens a space to go to after-school. This is the spot for any teen that was like me after high-school. Didn’t necessarily love to play any sport but liked and needed movement as they transitioned from the school day. The topics of each meeting will be determined by the group. Typically topics like navigating anxiety, building health friendships, dating, and processing experiences at school are all covered. The format of this group will look like starting with a movement based activity, moving into group discussion, and ending with a containing activity to help ease in wrapping up group. Wednesdays: Morning Refresh | 11:30am- 12pm | $20 per class
This is a virtual offering meant to provide a chance to check in with your body and find a moment of relaxation. This class will combine mindfulness as well as somatic and yoga movements that you can do from your chair. This offering is designed for those that work from the office, home, or anywhere where you want a mini break but don’t want to break a sweat.
Thursdays: Sunset Yoga | 6pm- 6:45pm | $25 per class
This is a virtual offering of a restorative yoga practice. Each class will focus on gentle and comforting movements for the body as a way to reconnect with ourselves after a busy week and find a space for ease and relaxation. I will offer plenty of creative solutions for yoga props traditionally used in a restorative class so that you are able to find ways to feel comfy and cozy!
Saturday: Kid’s Yoga | 9:30-10:15am | $35 per class
(Ages 6-12) * If determined to be an appropriate developmental fit children from outside this age range are also welcome to join!
This offering is a space for kid’s to begin to learn the fundamentals of building healthily practices for their mental health as well as physical. This class is designed to present topics in a fun and approachable way to kids through games, story time, and silliness. I am trained as a kids trauma-informed yoga instructor and have worked in child development spaces since high school. I truly love working with this age group and am excited to get to meet your little one!
* while this class is only for kids and I am CPR/ Firs-Aid trained. An adult responsible for the child is expected to be on the premise at all times. You are welcome to spend class time at Billie’s Grocery or Hand&Land (or take a nap in your car), as long as you have your ringer on and are able to promptly return to the class if an issue were to arise.

Trauma-Informed Monthly Book Club and Yoga Class (18+)
Trauma-informed yoga focuses on offering opportunities to establish a safe and positive connection to the body through mindful movement. It’s an invitation to bring exploration and play into the mind & body. No prior yoga experience is required.
This offering is a blend of two of my favorite things reading and yoga! Each month there will be a 30minute group discussion followed by an hour yoga class inspired by chosen book. The discussion and class will be held via zoom.
Each book was selected to explore topics around healing from trauma, increasing understanding of mind and body functioning, and increasing comfort in exploring one’s own sexuality.
(Journal prompts will be sent to individuals signed up on the 15th of each month. These questions are completely optional and meant to assist in exploring the material.)
BookClub & Yoga will be held from 6-7:30pm on the last Thursday of every month (Note: October’s class will vary). The date of each class will be listed next to each month’s book title below. This class is designed for those 18+.
